BER Cert Carlow
A Building Energy Rating Certificate (BER Cert) is an energy rating for buildings which shows their energy performance and carbon dioxide emissions which is measured on a 15-points scale from A1 to G.
A BER certificate is legally required if you are selling, renting or buying a home.
All SEAI Grant upgrades require a New Ber Certificate
HEAT PUMP
All homeowners, including private landlords, whose homes were built and occupied before 2021 can apply to the SEAI for a Heat Pump grant.
Before you apply for a heat pump grant, you must select an independent SEAI Registered Technical Advisor who will carry out a technical assessment of your home, and advise you on what steps you need to take to make your home heat pump ready.
